About The Event:

Pichwai (or Pichvai) painting is a traditional Indian art form that originated over 400 years ago in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. These intricate paintings are typically created on cloth and hung behind the idol of Shreenathji, a form of Lord Krishna, in temples and homes.

What to Expect:

Pichwai paintings are known for their rich colors, detailed brushwork, and spiritual symbolism. Common themes include scenes from the life of Krishna, especially his childhood leelas (divine plays), and celebrations of festivals like Janmashtami, Annakut, and Sharad Purnima.
